The KingdomVision Backstory

I would like to tell you a little bit about my experience developing the idea for KingdomVision. Over 15 years ago, my interest in music began to expand to include larger issues within Christian ministry and theology.

So, I began researching to learn more about the larger mission of the Church and the Kingdom of God. Although results were largely inconclusive at first, I experienced a series of paradigm shifts that helped me to define the strategic direction of KingdomVision.

Within that time, I accepted a general call to ministry but knew that my calling was specifically related to organizational change in both the church and marketplace. I lectured and taught workshops for a few years in conjunction with Mt. Calvary Church Int'l/Kingdom Builders Fellowship (Virginia). Between 2012 and 2015, I took classes at Regent University under Drs. Joseph Umidi, Peter Grabe and Clifton Clarke that introduced me to key theological concepts, such as:

  • Missio Dei

  • Marketplace Ministry

  • Kingdom Theology

  • Faith at Work

Around that time, I was also introduced to critical Scriptural concepts related to God's Kingdom through the teaching of Apostle Don Meares and Evangel Cathedral (i.e. corporate destiny, spiritual blessing, and the Lordship of Christ). To this day, Apostle Meares' teaching helps me to effectively apply concepts and practices of Biblical Kingdom living.

A turning point occurred in 2016 when I was preparing to deliver a message entitled "The Kingdom is Within You" based on Luke 17:21. Alongside the message, I received specific revelation that connected the dots between Kingdom Theology and the other Biblical concepts discussed above.

Together, these formational experiences have shaped the development of the KingdomVision program.
